Once home to the renowned Dolmel club, it nurtured talents such as Ryszard Szurkowski, Henryk Charucki, Jan Faltyn, and Jan Brze\u017any. Today, the capital of Lower Silesia writes a new chapter in this history by once again hosting the start of the biggest race in this part of Europe \u2013 the Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour.<\/p>\n

On the first day, the riders will cover nearly 200 kilometers, and the route will be mostly flat, with no major climbs. However, there will be chances to fight for points in the side classifications thanks to the LOTTO Sprint Primes in K\u0105ty Wroc\u0142awskie, \u015aroda \u015al\u0105ska, and Polkowice, as well as a PZU Mountain Prime in Prochowice.<\/p>\n

The stage will conclude in Legnica, where a sprint finish from a large group of riders seems the most likely outcome.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”4\/12″]
