This award recognizes the value of the event, not only as a sports competition but also for the role it plays in the economic and social development of the country. The prize was awarded at the <strong>Economy Awards Gala<\/strong> held in Jasionka, near Rzesz\u00f3w, during the Congress that is considered one of the most significant economic forums organized every year in Poland.<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>\u201cprize for the economy\u201d<\/strong> (Nagroda Gospodarcza) is assigned each year by the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda. It is a special acknowledgement for companies that contribute significantly to the development of the Polish economy with businesses that foster a positive image of Polish on the international scene.<\/p>\n<p>Prize categories include: leaders, national success, international success, research, development, start-ups, family businesses and many more. The Head of State also decided to reward an individual prize to <strong>Czeslaw Lang<\/strong>, as a person who has managed to stand out with his enterprise at the highest levels, <strong>promoting the Polish economy and business community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis is an honour; I am very proud that the President has decided to award me this prestigious prize, which stands as a symbol of the Nation\u2019s appreciation for all the work we do. My <\/em><strong><em>Tour de Pologne <\/em><\/strong><em>staff is one big family, and they deserve most of the credit for a job well done. More and more our race<\/em><strong><em> is becoming a recognizable brand<\/em><\/strong><em>, one that has been able to make its mark <\/em><strong><em>representing Poland on the international scene<\/em><\/strong><em>. This sports event has become the symbol of a nation, kind of like the Tour de France, the Giro d\u2019Italia and the Vuelta de Espana in their respective countries.
