In a few days, Poland will see the arrival
\nof an innovative security system by the Belgian brand BOPLAN. All this
\nbecause of the upcoming Tour de Pologne, in which, for the first time in
\nPoland, such modern solutions will be used in a stage cycling race.
\nAnother partner of the Tour de Pologne, DRUTEX, is logistically
\nsupporting this project.<\/p>\n
BOPLAN barriers and totems will be installed at the finish lines as well
\nas in critical places along the race route.<\/p>\n
BOPLAN is a Belgian brand specialized in the design and production of
\nvarious reliable security systems using environmentally friendly
\nmaterials and top technology in terms of installation and operation. The
\nBOPLAN Science Centre is located in Wolverhampton, where the most
\nadvanced and innovative solutions are developed. The BOPLAN SPORT line
\nis focused on the protection of athletes, spectators and organisers in
\nsporting events.<\/p>\n
This spring, the brand’s solutions secured, among others, the route of
\nthe Flemish cycling classic and the Saxo Bank Classic. BOPLAN systems
\nprotected the cyclists in critical places and from obstacles – such as
\ncables on the race route, speed bumps and road signs. Today, the BOPLAN
\nrace barriers solution is the most advanced of its kind and the most
\nmodern in the brand’s portfolio.<\/p>\n
The Tour de Pologne is not only the most important cycling event in
\nPoland, but it also means cooperation between race partners. There would
\nbe no implementation of BOPLAN solutions on the route, if not for the
\nsupport of another partner of Tour de Pologne – DRUTEX. Since the
\nbeginning of its existence, this leading European manufacturer of
\nwindows, doors, roller shutters and external blinds has been strongly
\ninvolved in many initiatives in the field of corporate social
\nresponsibility, including the promotion of sport, and the partnership
\nwith the Tour de Pologne is an example. It is worth mentioning that,
\napart from the Tour de Pologne, the brand has been the sponsor of the
\nTour of Nations, addressed to the U-23 riders, for two years. Moreover,
\nfor many years it has been supporting the activities of MKS Baszta
\nBytow, a distinguished cycling club, under the aegis of which Czeslaw
\nLang competed years ago. As an official sponsor of this year’s Tour de
\nPologne, DRUTEX – which is the logistic partner of the event – is also
\nresponsible for the delivery of BOPLAN solutions from Belgium to Poland,
\non the route of the race and back.<\/p>\n
