The riders will start from the Lower Silesian town of Strzelin first westwards, to Sob\u00f3tka, and then turn around and head towards the Opole region, to the capital of that voivodeship. The Tour de Pologne last visited Opole in 2020, when stage 2 started here. He also built defensive walls. The market square has all the features of a late medieval colonial city. The town flourished in the 15th and 16th century. Its wealth came from clothmaking, shoemaking, tanning, brewing and metalworking. During the 700 years of its history Strzelin suffered from a few major fires which burnt almost all buildings in the city. During the Thirty Years&#8217; War it was plundered many times by troops from various countries. In 1633 a deadly plague killed 4 000 inhabitants of Strzelin. Only ten families survived.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"_04xlpA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><em><span class=\"WdYUQQ text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Robot factory in Moszna<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"_04xlpA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span class=\"WdYUQQ text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Museum of scrap sculpture. The only place in Poland and in whole Europe where giant steel robots inpired by Sci-fi movies are produced. All of them were built manually by Sebastian Kucharski. Main material is scrap metal coming from cars and other steel waste destined for recycling.
