After 13 years, the Tour de Pologne UCI World Tour returns to Cieszyn! The world’s top cyclists will converge on this historic border own to battle for a valuable stage victory after a demanding route. In the past, champions like Peter Sagan and Zdenek Stybar have triumphed here. Today, an agreement was signed between the City of Cieszyn, Lang Team, and the official stage partner – the Archduke Castle Brewery Cieszyn.

Preparations for the 82nd Tour de Pologne are in full swing, with race organizers – led by Czesław Lang – finalizing the course. A key point of this year’s edition will be Cieszyn, where the riders will finish stage 4 on August 7. The partner of this stage is the Archduke Castle Brewery Cieszyn, established in 1846.

Cieszyn’s rich history includes several appearances by the Tour de Pologne – the race has visited the town many times! Fans fondly remember victories by such riders as Peter Sagan and Zdenek Stybar – multiple world champions in road and cyclo-cross racing, respectively. Cieszyn was also where Michał Kwiatkowski took his first steps in the Tour de Pologne, finishing 4th – a few days later, he stood on the podium in the general classification.

“We are delighted to announce that the Tour de Pologne, along with the Tour de Pologne Junior, is returning to Cieszyn after many years. Each visit of the race to the Cieszyn Silesia region has brought thrilling competition, with champions like Peter Sagan coming out on top.
