Czeslaw Lang fourth in “Forbes” and Pentagon Research’s list of the most influential people in sports.

In the ranking list of the “50 Most Influential People in Polish Sports 2023” published by “Forbes” magazine, the director of the Tour de Pologne Czeslaw Lang was ranked near the top by taking fourth place. In front of the Moscow Olympic vice-champion, there were such distinguished people in sports as Iga Swiatek, Robert Lewandowski and Zygmunt Solorz. The list was compiled by “Forbes” magazine and Pentagon Research.

This is a great honor not only for me, but for the entire discipline and all riders, because we are recognized and appreciated. The past year was very successful. The 80th anniversary Tour de Pologne took place, and the ORLEN Nations Race was extended to five stages, three of which were held abroad. This high ranking motivates to work even better for the development of racing and cycling. – concluded Olympic vice-champion, Czeslaw Lang.

The “50 Most Influential People in Polish Sports 2023” ranking is a joint initiative of Forbes magazine and Pentagon Research. The list has been prepared for nearly a decade and is an attempt to assess the sports market and the most important people who make it up. The compilation is created as a result of analysis of media coverage, image of sports people, and recognition studies. Sports marketing experts, academics, entrepreneurs and managers take part in the evaluation.
