Trentino – the Partner of the 82nd Tour de Pologne

Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour continues its partnership with Trentino, the Italian region that has supported Poland’s biggest cycling race for many years. Trentino lives and breathes sport and cycling, serving as a stage for professional competitions and a popular holiday destination for Polish tourists.

The partner of the 82nd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour is the Italian region of Trentino, renowned for its passion for cycling. In 2013, the Polish race began in Rovereto, with Italian stages finishing in Madonna di Campiglio and on Passo Pordoi. Trentino remains deeply committed to promoting sport, especially cycling.

The region is one of the key locations on the cycling map of Europe. It regularly hosts stages of the Giro d’Italia and, this year, was also part of the Giro d’Italia Women. Trentino’s routes are also used for the UCI MTB World Cup and various amateur events, such as the Comano Gravel Experience, Tesino Lagorai Bike, and Alpine Gravel Val di Sole.

Poland is an important tourism market for Trentino – not only in winter but increasingly also in summer. The region offers over 465 kilometers of well-marked cycling routes, appreciated for their landscapes and infrastructure. It’s an ideal destination not only for professionals but for all lovers of cycling and active recreation.

“I’m very attached to Italy and Trentino. I have many beautiful memories from there, and for a period in my life I had the privilege of calling it home. Trentino is a beautiful place, perfect for cycling and much more, which is why I’m so pleased with our continued partnership” said Czesław Lang, General Director of the Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour, who raced on Trentino’s roads during his professional career and in 2014 received the symbolic keys to the town of Pinzolo.

“In Trentino, cycling is more than just a sport: it’s an authentic way of experiencing the region. From the legendary climbs of the Dolomites to routes winding between lakes and vineyards, every road tells a story of effort, beauty, and freedom. It is on these shared values that we have built our bond with Poland—a relationship that began years ago and has been strengthened by our mutual passion for cycling. The friendship between Francesco Moser and Czesław Lang has cultivated a dialogue of respect, sport, and camaraderie that today endures through the Tour de Pologne said Maurizio Rossini, CEO of Trentino Marketing.
