Filip Maciejuk joins Movistar Team!

Polish cyclist Filip Maciejuk has officially signed a contract with the Spanish Movistar Team for the 2026 season. The 26-year-old rider will join the WorldTour squad for one year, becoming the 28th member of the men’s roster for the upcoming season and an important part of one of the oldest professional teams in the world.

Maciejuk is known primarily as a key domestique and a time trial specialist — he became Polish national time trial champion in both 2024 and 2025. Over the past two seasons (2024–2025), he raced for Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe.

In Movistar Team’s official press release, Maciejuk was praised for his strength, dedication to teamwork, and ability to control the pace of the peloton on flat stages.

For Polish cycling fans, this is significant news — Maciejuk joins an exclusive group of Poles competing at the highest WorldTour level. Alongside him are Michał Kwiatkowski (INEOS Grenadiers) and Kamil Gradek (Bahrain Victorious).

Last year, Maciejuk finished 59th overall in the ORLEN General Classification at the Tour de Pologne, but he was one of the heroes of Stage 4 to Cieszyn. The 26-year-old spent 196 kilometers in a breakaway, only to be caught on the final circuit, just before the finish line.
