Trentino renews partnership with the Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour

The Italian region of Trentino has renewed its partnership with the Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour, extending a collaboration that has connected one of Europe’s leading cycling destinations with Poland’s biggest stage race for more than a decade. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to promoting cycling, outdoor tourism and an active lifestyle.

The partnership is rooted in a long-standing relationship between Trentino and the Tour de Pologne. In 2013, the race started in Rovereto before finishing stages in Madonna di Campiglio and on the legendary Passo Pordoi, bringing the WorldTour event to the heart of the Italian Alps. Since then, Trentino has remained a valued partner of the race while strengthening its reputation as a destination for both professional riders and cycling enthusiasts.

Well known among Polish visitors, Trentino offers hundreds of kilometres of routes through the Dolomites, valleys, lakes and vineyards, making it an attractive destination for training camps as well as leisure cycling holidays throughout the year.

The partnership with the Tour de Pologne, a prestigious benchmark event for Polish and international cycling, has become increasingly important to us. The relationship between Trentino and Poland has been consolidated over time through significant institutional milestones and meaningful cultural exchanges. Tourism flows have also reached significant levels over the years, reflecting a strong bond based on shared values. Alongside the pleasure of experiencing Trentino in winter, amid our Dolomites, there is now a growing interest in experiences related to cycling, the outdoors, and active summer holidays. In Trentino, cycling, across its different disciplines, is an integral part of the way people experience and discover the destination. This is a spirit we share with our Polish friends, as part of a journey that already sees us committed to organizing the TRENTINO – UCI Cycling World Championships 2031. An event we are confident will be a major opportunity for Trentino and for Italy as a whole to present ourselves to the world.” – Maurizio Rossini – CEO of Trentino Marketing

Trentino holds a very special place in my heart. It is a region connected with many important memories, and for a period of my life it was also my home. Outstanding cycling conditions, breathtaking scenery and wonderful people make it a truly unique place, which is why we are delighted to continue our partnership” says Czesław Lang, General Director of the Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour. During his professional career, Lang raced on the roads of Trentino and, in 2014, was honoured with the symbolic keys to the town of Pinzolo.

The 83rd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour will take place from 3 to 9 August under the theme “North–South.” Starting in Gdynia on the Baltic coast and finishing with an individual time trial in “Wieliczka” Salt Mine, the race will cross Poland from north to south, once again providing Trentino with a platform to reach cycling fans and active travellers across one of its key international markets.
