The UCI World Championships in gravel cycling took place in Italy on October 7-8. A brilliant race it was for Kasia Niewiadoma, who became the world champion. It is worth noting that that was her first race on this type of surface.

Great form was also proven by Matej Mohorič, who won the general classification of the anniversary edition of the Tour de Pologne! The Slovenian rider reached the finish line with nearly a minute lead, securing the rainbow jersey.
