Tour de Pologne remains in the UCI WorldTour!

During the meeting of the Management Committee of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in Arzon, France, the UCI World Tour calendar for the 2026 season was officially approved. Among the most important races once again is the Tour de Pologne, which will take place from August 3 to 9 2026, and as always, will attract the world’s top cycling teams.

Since 2005, the Tour de Pologne has been part of the UCI WorldTour (formerly UCI ProTour). Over the past 20 years, the race has earned a reputation as one of the best-organized events, and Poland has become a popular destination for cycling stars and young talents, all fighting for victory and the prestigious ORLEN yellow jersey of the general classification.

That will not change in the coming years – during the recent UCI Management Committee meeting in Arzon, the 2026 UCI WorldTour calendar was approved. Once again, the Tour de Pologne was included, having met all requirements and securing the UCI WorldTour license.

The most important stage race in this part of Europe will be held next year from August 3 to 9.

— Last week, during the UCI Board meeting, the WorldTour calendar was confirmed, including the Tour de Pologne. The race is among the top 15 stage races in the world from 12 countries. The date for the next Tour de Pologne is August 3–9. All races must meet certain criteria and we are very happy that the Tour de Pologne fulfills them and remains on the calendar of the world’s best races — said Agata Lang-Lelangue, Vice President of the Lang Team.

In the coming seasons, our national race will once again be included among UCI WorldTour events. Its status not only promotes Poland internationally but also guarantees a world-class sporting spectacle with the participation of the top riders in the world. All UCI WorldTour licensed teams will traditionally take part in the Tour de Pologne!

Before the 83rd edition of the Tour de Pologne in 2026, we can look forward to this year’s race, which will take place from August 4 to 10, 2025. The race route was presented last Friday on TVP Sport. The seven-day competition will begin in Wrocław and finish near the Wieliczka Salt Mine. The Tour de Pologne will once again be a grand cycling celebration not to be missed!
