Hotel Gołębiewski Karpacz to host the start of stage two of the 82nd TdP
Located in the picturesque Karkonosze Mountains, Hotel Gołębiewski Karpacz will once again partner with the 82nd Tour de Pologne. The hotel will be the starting point for Stage Two of the race, which will take riders through the demanding local climbs and finish at the iconic Orlinek in Karpacz. – It is a great honor for us and a sign of long-standing trust in our services, says Dorota Lachowicz, Director of Hotel Gołębiewski in Karpacz.
The Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour is a major international event that requires top-class infrastructure, including hotel facilities. The organizers rely on renowned venues like Hotel Gołębiewski Karpacz, which is once again a proud partner of the race. The hotel will also host the start of stage two on August 5. From there, riders will tackle the mountainous terrain of the Karkonosze region before finishing on the steep climb to Orlinek.
During the 82nd edition of the race, Hotel Gołębiewski Karpacz will also accommodate riders and organizers, offering them a chance to rest and recharge in a scenic setting during a demanding race week.
„This partnership is especially meaningful to us because we are part of an event that promotes sport, healthy living, and the beauty of Poland – values we strongly identify with. We are pleased to welcome both organizers and athletes, providing them with a comfortable space for recovery and preparation. Tour de Pologne is an inspiring event that we are proud to be associated with” adds Dorota Lachowicz.
„Hotel Gołębiewski Karpacz has been our partner for several years. We have an excellent relationship, and we are happy that it continues. In previous years, the hotel also hosted the start of the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amateurs, the Ryszard Szurkowski Memorial. It is certainly a venue we recommend to foreign teams and guests as an ideal location for training in the mountain”, says Czesław Lang, General Director of the Tour de Pologne.
The hotel, located in the heart of the Karkonosze Mountains, offers a wide range of services, including a large water park with slides, jacuzzis, sauna, a gym, and a saltwater graduation tower. Guests can also enjoy wellness treatments, a year-round toboggan run, a bowling alley, a games room, and a playground. The hotel’s culinary offer is also extensive, and the surrounding region provides numerous opportunities for active outdoor leisure.
From Hotel Gołębiewski, guests can enjoy a breathtaking view of Śnieżka – the highest peak in the Karkonosze Mountains. Numerous hiking and cycling trails are located nearby, making it a perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts. This is also reflected in the Tour de Pologne itself, which frequently takes place in Lower Silesia, including Karpacz and its surroundings. Riders and organizers have had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Gołębiewski in Karpacz on multiple occasions.
„Providing the logistical and operational support for such a large-scale event as the Tour de Pologne is undoubtedly a challenge – particularly this year, with the stage starting right at the hotel. However, we have experience, as the hotel has previously hosted the start of the Tour de Pologne Amateurs twice, with over 2,000 participants. As a hotel that regularly hosts major conferences and events, we have developed procedures and a team capable of managing demanding situations. This is part of our everyday work, but – as with every large event – we aim for perfection. Our top priority is ensuring comfort and full support for both athletes and organizers. Thanks to the experience, commitment, and flexibility of our staff, we can quickly respond to guests’ needs and create an environment conducive to both relaxation and race preparation. It’s an intense, yet very rewarding and exciting time due to the sporting nature of the event” explains Dorota Lachowicz.
The partnership between the Tour de Pologne and Hotel Gołębiewski in Karpacz also plays a promotional and image-building role. As a UCI World Tour event, the Polish race is watched by millions of fans every year. This year, the broadcast will reach audiences in 65 countries.
„Our partnership with the Tour de Pologne significantly strengthens our brand image – presenting us as a reliable, active, and engaged partner in large-scale national events. It’s also an opportunity for us to reach new guests from Poland and abroad. As a result, Hotel Gołębiewski is perceived not only as a leisure destination but also as a venue suitable for hosting large-scale events, which positively impacts both our brand and business development” says Dorota Lachowicz.
The 82nd Tour de Pologne will take place from August 4 to 10, with the Hotel Gołębiewski Karpacz–Karpacz stage scheduled for August 5.
