PKP Intercity is official partner of the 82nd edition of the Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour
PKP Intercity has been actively supporting the Tour de Pologne for many years. In 2025 the Polish passenger railway operator will once again be the official partner of the largest and most prestigious cycling race in Poland, continuing a long-standing and fruitful collaboration that began in 2017.
PKP Intercity supports initiatives of great historical and cultural importance in Poland. It’s no surprise, then, that this year the national rail carrier is once again involved in the country’s most important cycling event – the Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour. As part of this partnership, passengers across Poland can watch promotional videos advertising this year’s edition of the race.
This year’s Tour de Pologne is once again part of the prestigious UCI WorldTour and is one of 15 multi-stage races in this elite category. The world’s top teams will once again travel to Poland to compete on a varied and spectacular course.
Just like last year, the 82nd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour will start in Wrocław, the capital of Lower Silesia. From there, the peloton will ride flat roads to Legnica, where a mass sprint finish is expected. The following day, the riders will head into the mountains, climbing from the Hotel Gołębiewski Karpacz to the iconic Orlinek climb in Karpacz.
The next stage will again be a mountainous spectacle, this time on a circuit starting and finishing in Wałbrzych. The race then heads south from Rybnik to Cieszyn. The following stage will lead the riders from Katowice to Zakopane, before on the penultimate day, the best climbers will battle it out on the “queen stage” from BUKOVINA Resort to Bukowina Tatrzańska. The winner of the 82nd Tour de Pologne will be decided during the individual time trial around the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine.
Thanks to PKP Intercity’s extensive network of passenger rail connections, fans and tourists can easily reach many of the locations along the race course.
Since 2017, PKP Intercity has regularly supported Poland’s most important cycling race as a Partner. In 2018, the largest Polish passenger long-distance rail carrier was also a Partner of the Mobile Museum of the Tour de Pologne.
