PZU once again named Official Insurer of the Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour

PZU continues its long-standing partnership with the Tour de Pologne, once again supporting Poland’s national race as the Official Insurer of the 83rd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour and the Official Sponsor of the Mountains Classification. The company will also partner with the Tour de Pologne Junior – Marian Więckowski Memorial, helping to foster the development of young cycling talents.

For many years, the Tour de Pologne has ranked among Poland’s most prestigious sporting events. As part of the elite UCI WorldTour calendar, the race attracts the world’s top professional cycling teams and millions of spectators both along the route and in front of their television screens. PZU has been supporting this celebration of cycling continuously since 2020, and this year’s edition marks the seventh chapter of the successful partnership.

As part of the agreement, PZU will also sponsor the Mountains Classification—one of the most exciting competitions within the Tour de Pologne. Each day, the classification leader will wear the iconic white jersey with blue polka dots. At the same time, the company will support the Tour de Pologne Junior – Marian Więckowski Memorial, an event that has inspired children and young people for years to embrace physical activity and pursue their passion for cycling.

“For many years, the Tour de Pologne has been one of the most important cycling events in this part of Europe, bringing together the world’s leading professional riders every season. Organising an event of this calibre requires trusted partners who uphold the highest standards and share our commitment to the safety of both riders and fans. We are delighted that PZU is once again part of this project. It is a brand that consistently supports sport and truly understands the values it represents,” said Czesław Lang, General Director of the Tour de Pologne.

The partnership with the Tour de Pologne perfectly reflects PZU’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles, safety, and physical activity. Supporting Poland’s biggest cycling race also demonstrates the company’s long-term dedication to the development of sport and initiatives that deliver meaningful social impact.

“The Tour de Pologne has become a permanent fixture not only on the European sporting calendar but also in the lives of thousands of cycling fans across Poland. We have seen interest in cycling continue to grow year after year, and we want to be part of initiatives that strengthen this trend and inspire new audiences. Our involvement in this project represents long-term support for sport and for activities that genuinely encourage physical activity and healthy living,” said Agnieszka Żebrowska, Director of the Sponsorship and Prevention Office at PZU.

The 83rd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour will feature 18 UCI WorldTeams, alongside the Polish National Team. All seven stages of the race will be broadcast live on TVP, Eurosport, and the HBO Max streaming platform. Thanks to international television distribution, race coverage will reach audiences in 65 countries, showcasing Poland as the host of one of the most prestigious events on the UCI WorldTour calendar.
