The stars of the 83rd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour and the 4th Tour de Pologne Women are winning again!

The turn of July and August guaranteed Polish cycling fans quite a lot of emotions. Leading elite male and female riders took part in the 4th Tour de Pologne Women and the 83rd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour, reaching for spectacular victories on Polish roads. Now they are winning again!

The Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour and Tour de Pologne Women races attract the best teams in the world to the start line. It was no different this year – in the men’s competition, we traditionally saw all the top division teams, and in the women’s struggles, as many as 8 UCI Women’s WorldTour squads started.

The presence of leading teams also means the start of male and female cyclists who throughout the entire season fight for wins in the biggest events. The stars of the 83rd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour and the 4th Tour de Pologne Women confirmed their high form in subsequent starts after the Polish races and are reaching for victories again.

Already during the 4th Tour de Pologne Women, many competitors, including Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx-Protime) and Elisa Balsamo (Lidl-Trek), pointed out that the race routed through the Lubelskie Voivodeship is a great test of form for sprinters before the Tour de France Femmes. The Polish event was dominated by Lorena Wiebes, who triumphed in the first two stages of the women’s Tour de France Femmes, and left France in the green jersey of the points classification winner.

Now the Dutchwoman has in turn secured two victories in the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women, a UCI Women’s WorldTour level race. Meanwhile, Elisa Balsamo – 2nd in the 4th Tour de Pologne Women – recently expanded her cycling palmarès with a triumph in the Egmont Cycling Race.

The cyclists who achieved success on the route of the 83rd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour are also presenting themselves very well. Jonathan Milan from Lidl-Trek recorded as many as 3 stage victories in Poland, and now he has added another one to that – on a stage of the Renewi Tour of UCI WorldTour rank.

Louis Barre from Team Visma | Lease a Bike is also winning. Polish fans remember the Frenchman from his spectacular triumph in Bukowina Tatrzańska after a long charge, where he achieved his first victory at the UCI WorldTour level. On Thursday, the 26-year-old raised his hands in a gesture of victory once again – this time on the route of the Lidl Deutschland Tour.

The excellent form of the male and female cyclists whom we watched in Poland just recently proves the very high sporting level of the Polish races. Even now, one can look forward with anticipation to the next editions of the Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour and Tour de Pologne Women.
