Impel Group Officially Secures the Tour de Pologne for the 16th Time
For the 16th time, Impel Group will serve as the Official Security Partner of the Tour de Pologne. The experienced Impel team will be responsible for securing the race’s key operational areas throughout all seven stages of this year’s edition, which will take the riders from Gdynia to Wieliczka.
The route of the 83rd Tour de Pologne, stretching from northern to southern Poland, brings new organizational and logistical challenges, also for the team responsible for the event’s security. Impel Group personnel will secure the finish area of each of the seven stages, as well as the parking areas designated for the race’s technical infrastructure and TV broadcast vehicles.
“We have been working with Impel Group for many years and greatly appreciate its experience, commitment, and professional approach. Organizing the Tour de Pologne requires excellent coordination and the ability to respond quickly to changing circumstances. We are delighted that we can once again rely on such a trusted partner for this year’s edition,” said Czesław Lang, General Director of the Tour de Pologne.
Thanks to this long-standing partnership, the Impel Group team is highly familiar with the unique demands of a race that moves to a different host city every day. However, this year’s new route requires particularly detailed planning. The opening stages of the Tour de Pologne will pass through cities and sections that have not previously been part of the race.
“The Tour de Pologne is one of the most demanding sporting events in terms of security operations. Every stage features different terrain, venue layouts, and traffic conditions. This year, the route includes cities such as Gdynia, Koszalin, Międzyzdroje, and Szczecin. Our role is to anticipate various scenarios and ensure smooth operations regardless of the location or the number of spectators,” said Janusz Pniak, Security Coordinator at Impel Group.
Safe Sporting Emotions and Shared Passion
Impel Group’s involvement in the Tour de Pologne has long extended beyond securing the race’s key areas. Over the years, the company has become an active part of the event’s sporting atmosphere, enthusiastically supporting the riders and engaging with fans.
One of the highlights of last year’s race was the “35 Years of Impel Group” Special Prime in Ustroń, which provided an opportunity to celebrate both the company’s anniversary and the excitement of world-class cycling. During the 83rd Tour de Pologne, Impel Group will once again prepare attractions for fans in selected host cities along the race route.
Impel Group specializes in securing mass events, major sporting competitions, concerts, and festivals. Its expertise covers physical security services as well as access control systems, advanced CCTV monitoring, drone-based solutions, and modern electronic security systems.
One of Poland’s largest service providers, Impel Group has been operating for more than 35 years. In addition to security services, the company offers comprehensive cleaning services, technical maintenance, event organization and catering, specialist industrial services, and HR, payroll, and accounting process outsourcing.
