Sport Without Barriers – Avalon Foundation Supports Accessibility at Tour de Pologne 2025
Tour de Pologne is not just about thrilling sports moments – it’s also a space open to everyone. Once again, the Avalon Foundation is joining the event to ensure that people with disabilities can fully participate in this exceptional celebration of cycling.
Accessibility Activities During the Event
From August 8–10, 2025, the Avalon Foundation will be present at the final stages of Tour de Pologne, supporting the organizers in enhancing accessibility. At a dedicated Avalon booth, event participants will be able to access information about the race route, event schedule, and safety guidelines.
On site, there will be various accessibility solutions available for people with different needs, including noise-cancelling headphones, an induction loop, and remote access to a Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpreter. If needed, a wheelchair tire service will also be available. Additionally, Avalon representatives will take part in organizational briefings, providing short training sessions on communication and support for people with disabilities. The Foundation will also offer a handbike as an attraction for event participants.

Sports Excitement Online as Well
The Avalon Foundation will also ensure that information is accessible in the digital space. The full Tour de Pologne program will be published on the Foundation’s website in Polish Sign Language (PJM), along with daily race result updates in a format compatible with assistive technologies. This will allow people with disabilities to follow the race in real time in an accessible way.
The Avalon Foundation encourages everyone to visit their booth during the final stages of Tour de Pologne and to follow their coverage on social media. The aim of these efforts is to increase the accessibility of sports events and to promote active participation for all – regardless of ability level.
